What we work with

We work with adults and teenagers going through low mood, flatness or depression, whether it arrived with a reason or without one.

Therapy here goes at your pace: sometimes small practical steps, sometimes looking at the patterns underneath.

We don't prescribe medication. If medication might help, we'll suggest you see a psychiatrist or your doctor, and keep working with you alongside.

If you are thinking about suicide, please call or text 988 now. It is free and open all night.

If you need help now. If you're in danger right now, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org, 24 hours a day; veterans can call 988 and press 1. You can also text HOME to 741741. Our phone and messages are not monitored outside office hours, and this website is not an emergency service.

What a session can look like

Many people start by saying they aren't sure why they're here, because nothing is obviously wrong. That is a complete answer. The first sessions are for finding out what the weeks have been like and what, if anything, has changed.

Pace matters. Some weeks the work is practical, and some weeks it is only saying what is true. Your clinician keeps the speed to what you can manage, and says so if they think a doctor or a psychiatrist could help alongside.

Ways to meet, and what they cost

One fee for each kind of session, the same for every clinician here: you choose a clinician for the fit, not for the price.

Fees and insurance The Good Faith Estimate

Talk first, if you like. Book a free fifteen-minute call to see whether we're a good fit. It's a conversation about what you're looking for and how we work, by telephone or video — not a therapy session, and there is nothing to pay for it.

Before you decide

No promised result. Therapy works differently for everyone. We can't promise a particular result, and nobody honestly can, but we'll review with you regularly how it's going and whether something else would serve you better.

Not a self-test. Nothing on this website can tell you what is going on for you. A diagnosis, where one is needed, comes from a clinician who has met you — never from a page, a quiz or a booking form.
