Who video suits

The same fifty minutes, wherever you have a door you can close.

Video sessions are for people who are in New York State at the time of each session and have somewhere private to be. They suit a long commute, small children, a job that doesn't let you leave, or a week when getting to the office is the hardest part.

In person is there when you want it: every clinician keeps office days too, and you can move between the two with your clinician.

In New York State. Video sessions are for clients who are physically in New York State at the time of each session, because that is the state a New York license covers. If you're traveling outside New York, we may need to pause video sessions or meet in person when you're back.

Office days and video days. Each clinician's day is either an office day, when every session is in person here, or a video day, when every session is by video. Choose in person or video and the calendar shows you the times that fit.

A room with a door that closes

Your clinician sends you a private video link before the session; you need a quiet room with a door, a device with a camera, and headphones if anybody else is home. Nothing to install from this website, and nothing recorded.

  • If a video session keeps being interrupted, by the connection or by home, your clinician may suggest meeting in the office instead.

Sit where you would be comfortable for the whole hour, and check your sound before the time. If you share a home, say when you'll be on.

Which days are video days

Each clinician works some days in the office and some by video. The week at a glance:

Office means in person at 37-32 61st Street; video means by video that day. A dash is a day off.

What it costs

The fee depends on the kind of session, never on video or the office.

One fee for each kind of session, the same for every clinician here: you choose a clinician for the fit, not for the price. Out of network; paid at or after each session, never online. These fees apply from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.

Out of network. We don't participate in any health insurance networks. If your plan has out-of-network mental health benefits, we can give you a monthly statement (a "superbill") to send in. Whether and how much your plan reimburses is between you and your plan; ask them before you start. If you're using out-of-network benefits, the amount we'll charge is available on request before your first session, and we'll give it to you in writing (Public Health Law § 24).

Book a video time

The free call can be by telephone or video; a session on a video day is by video. The calendar shows only times that are really free.

Nothing clinical online. This form asks only for what an appointment needs: your name, how to reach you, who you'd like to see, what kind of session and when. It never asks why you're coming — that conversation is for your clinician, not for a website — and nothing you type here is shared with an advertiser, a tracker or anyone outside the practice.
