What we work with

We work with people grieving a death, and with the losses that don't get a funeral: a pregnancy, a marriage, a country, a version of their life.

Grief isn't something to hurry here. Sessions make room for it, and for the practical weight that comes with it.

Some people come in the first weeks; many come a year or more later, when everyone else has moved on.

If you need help now. If you're in danger right now, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org, 24 hours a day; veterans can call 988 and press 1. You can also text HOME to 741741. Our phone and messages are not monitored outside office hours, and this website is not an emergency service.

What a session can look like

A first session often begins with the person or the thing you lost: who they were, what the days were like, what you keep coming back to. There is no order you have to tell it in.

Grief brings a practical weight with it: forms, a house, a family that is also grieving. Sessions make room for that, and for the people around you who grieve differently.

Ways to meet, and what they cost

One fee for each kind of session, the same for every clinician here: you choose a clinician for the fit, not for the price.

Fees and insurance The Good Faith Estimate

Talk first, if you like. Book a free fifteen-minute call to see whether we're a good fit. It's a conversation about what you're looking for and how we work, by telephone or video — not a therapy session, and there is nothing to pay for it.

Before you decide

No promised result. Therapy works differently for everyone. We can't promise a particular result, and nobody honestly can, but we'll review with you regularly how it's going and whether something else would serve you better.

Not a self-test. Nothing on this website can tell you what is going on for you. A diagnosis, where one is needed, comes from a clinician who has met you — never from a page, a quiz or a booking form.
