A demonstration site — this practice and its clinicians are not real.
The foot of a prewar staircase: oak treads, white balusters and a dark wooden handrail rising to a landing, a doormat at the bottom, plain white walls.

The telephone rings nowhere. The telephone number on this site is 000-000-0000, which is not a number. It is the same on every page, on purpose: there is nothing to ring.

Woodside Psychotherapy serves Woodside and its neighbors: Sunnyside, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Maspeth, Long Island City and Astoria.

The office is a second-floor suite in a prewar building, reached by an elevator or a flight of stairs, with a quiet waiting area, three therapy rooms with sound-softening machines outside their doors, and a restroom on the floor. If the office is hard for you to reach for any reason, every clinician also keeps video days.

Getting here

No map is embedded on this page: an address and a station name read reliably as words, and words load nothing from anywhere else.

By train, bus or car

  • The 7 train at 61st Street–Woodside, two minutes' walk; the station has elevators.
  • The Long Island Rail Road at Woodside, on the same block.
  • Several bus routes stop within three minutes on Roosevelt Avenue and Woodside Avenue.

Parking

By car, street parking only, and it is hard to find in the evening.

Coming from nearby

Whether you start in Sunnyside, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Long Island City and Astoria, one of these is probably the fastest way in:

  • Sunnyside

One or two stops east on the 7 from 52nd Street or 46th Street–Bliss Street.

  • Jackson Heights

Two stops west on the 7 from 74th Street–Broadway. From the E, F, M or R, change there.

  • Elmhurst

The E, F, M or R to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue, then two stops west on the 7.

  • Long Island City

Six stops east on the 7 from Court Square, or five from Queensboro Plaza.

  • Astoria

The N or W to Queensboro Plaza, then five stops east on the 7.

  • Long Island

The Long Island Rail Road stops at Woodside, on the same block.

Hours

These are the hours sessions run. Each clinician works four of the six days, printed on their own page, some in the office and some by video. The telephone and messages are answered Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and returned within one working day; they are not watched outside those hours.

Closed Sundays. Sessions by appointment, in person or by video.

Office days and video days. Each clinician's day is either an office day, when every session is in person here, or a video day, when every session is by video. Choose in person or video and the calendar shows you the times that fit.

When messages are read. Messages are answered Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and returned within one working day. They are not watched in the evening, at night or at weekends.

Who is in the office on which day

An open hour on the table above is not the same as a time you can book: each clinician works some days in the office and some by video, and the calendar shows only the times that fit your choice.

Office means in person at 37-32 61st Street; video means by video that day. A dash is a day off.
