A demonstration site — this practice and its clinicians are not real.
A calm room seen past an open door: two armchairs set well apart on a wide rug, a lit floor lamp, a clear path from the door.

What we work with

Trauma-informed care means the practice is built around the fact that many people coming to therapy have lived through things that were frightening or overwhelming.

In practice: you choose where to sit, you are never pushed to describe something before you are ready, and you can stop a session any time.

We work with the effects of hard experiences on sleep, relationships, trust and the body. If what you need is a dedicated trauma program, we'll say so and help you find one.

If you need help now. If you're in danger right now, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org, 24 hours a day; veterans can call 988 and press 1. You can also text HOME to 741741. Our phone and messages are not monitored outside office hours, and this website is not an emergency service.

What a session can look like

You choose where to sit and what to talk about. Many first sessions never touch the hardest thing; they are about whether the room feels right and what you would like to be different. Nothing is asked of you before you are ready.

Some of the work is about the present, and some people prefer never to describe the past in detail. The work can go on without it.

Ways to meet, and what they cost

One fee for each kind of session, the same for every clinician here: you choose a clinician for the fit, not for the price.

Talk first, if you like. Book a free fifteen-minute call to see whether we're a good fit. It's a conversation about what you're looking for and how we work, by telephone or video — not a therapy session, and there is nothing to pay for it.

Before you decide

No promised result. Therapy works differently for everyone. We can't promise a particular result, and nobody honestly can, but we'll review with you regularly how it's going and whether something else would serve you better.

Not a self-test. Nothing on this website can tell you what is going on for you. A diagnosis, where one is needed, comes from a clinician who has met you — never from a page, a quiz or a booking form.
