A demonstration site — this practice and its clinicians are not real.
A narrow waiting area: three upholstered chairs in rust and sage wool beside a small oak table with a jug of water and paper cups, a potted plant and a closed white panel door.

Therapists

Five therapists in Woodside, Queens

Choose by fit, by language and by the days that suit your week.

AI-generated illustration. Not a real office.

Choose by fit

One fee for each kind of session, the same for every clinician here: you choose a clinician for the fit, not for the price.

Five people work here, each with a different manner, different days and different languages. Read what they work with, look at the days that would fit your week, and book the free call with whoever sounds closest. If it isn't a fit, say so on the call: nobody minds, and the call is not a therapy session.

What the license means

A license belongs to a person, and a practice's name carries a rule too.

Licensed, one person at a time. The title "licensed clinical social worker" and the letters LCSW belong only to people New York has licensed (Education Law § 7702), and a license belongs to a person, never to a practice. On a real practice's site, every clinician's license can be checked on the New York State Education Department's public verification page. The clinicians on this demonstration site are invented and hold no license, so none is claimed and no number is shown.

Why the name ends LCSW, PLLC. A New York therapy practice can't be an ordinary company: a practice of licensed clinical social workers is a professional limited liability company, and every one of its members must be a licensed clinical social worker (LLC Law § 1203(b)). That is why the name ends "LCSW, PLLC", and why everybody here holds the same license.
